"The LAB 001 is hands down, the most fun powder ski I have ever tried. It oozes playfulness, and lacks any kind of unwanted hooking or catching. Butters and reverts at high speeds become effortless and natural, rather than frightening and dangerous. This ski will go sideways for as long as you like without ditching speed, but if it is control you want, lean a little and "scrubbing" speed becomes a resistance-free dream. Groomers, you ask? Despite what you may assume, this ski has no problem at all shredding the entire mountain looking for any remote pow stashes you want to find. In Whistler, any amazing powder day is filled with every condition you could imagine, from bullet-proof, wind scoured ice on top, to the deepest of deep powder mid-mountain, to slushy, banged-out moguls at the bottom, and the LAB can handle it all. The first time i tried them, it was a 40cm day in Nelson, BC, and all i could do for the first run was laugh at how easy it was while drifting sideways the entire way down around trees at full speed."
